Mayor’s vuvuzela call #FillUpPeterMokabaStadium

Polokwane Mayor, Thembi Nkadimeng encourages all Limpopo residents to support the boys on their way to the top and to make sure they win the game on Saturday.

The internationally renown soccer team, Bafana Bafana, have arrived in Polokwane ahead of their 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia qualifier match against Senegal at the Peter Mokaba Sports Complex on Saturday.

This is the second qualifier match in the lead up to the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia.
Bafana Bafana last played in Polokwane in October 2014 when they clashed against Congo-Brazzaville during the Africa Cup of Nations (CAF) qualifier. The game between the two teams ended in a 0-0 draw as none of the teams managed to find the back of the net.

The clash between Bafana Bafana and Senegal is expected to start at 15:00 and tickets are still on sale at Computicket, Shoprite and Checkers stores at R60 each.
