Residents clean park
A local park in Westenburg was a hub of activity early on Saturday morning as the community came together to clean the park.
POLOKWANE -This initiative brought the community together with one common goal; to clean the park so everyone can enjoy it with their families.
“We decided to do our part in making the park more family friendly,” one of the residents, Joosuf Pemma, explained.
“The park was in a dire state with lots of garbage and even broken bottles, we made use of our own equipment to clean it and make it safe for our children,” another resident, Angela Rogers, added.
