Moderator of URCSA General Synod visits Polokwane

The visit forms part of his ongoing engagements with URCSA congregations’ throughout the country and beyond.

POLOKWANE – The Moderator of the General Synod of the Uniting Reformed Church in Southern Africa (URCSA), Professor Reverend Leepo Modise will pay a courtesy visit to the Polokwane City congregation on Sunday, 12 March 2017.

According to Polokwane City Congregation’s Communications and Publication Unit, this will be the first and historic visit by the Moderator of the General Synod in Limpopo province since his appointment in October 2016.

Professor Modise will deliver a special sermon expected to attract hundreds of congregants not only of URCSA but also from other denominations in and around the City of Polokwane.

Christian Mens Ministry‘s Northern and General Synod President and also the Polokwane City Church Council member Kagi Tladi says it will be a special honour and privilege to receive and welcome the Moderator in the City of Polokwane and  urged all members to take advantage of this opportunity to interact, pray , worship and praise the Almighty together with our Moderator.

Polokwane City congregation has lined up a number of activities including a grand parade by various Ministries including the group of Sunday school children.

The service starts at 10:00 at 74 Voortrekker Street, Polokwane.
