Manhunt for attempted business robbery & murder suspects in Tzaneen

A massive manhunt for a group of armed suspects involved in an attempted business robbery and murder late last night, has been set up by Limpopo SAPS.

LIMPOPO- A Special task team composing of various police units have launched a massive manhunt for a group of armed suspects for an attempted business robbery and murder late last night.

Police spokesperson LT. Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe says it is alleged that security officers responded to an alarm at Morokolotsi Achar factory along the R36 road outside Tzaneen.

Ngoepe says on their arrival, the guards heard gunshots inside the factory and three armed suspects fled the scene with a shootout ensuing.

“The suspects attempted to take money from a safe but were unsuccessful in trying to get it open,” says Ngoepe.

He says the suspects are still unknown and that no arrests have been made as yet.

“Police investigations are continuing,” he concluded.
