POLOKWANE – Mothapo says the outage was caused by construction workers in the area who damaged two electrical cables.
He says the areas affected include Eduan Park and Welgelegen.
“Due to the amount of time needed to work on the damage, electricity should be restored in the affected areas by around 19:00-20:00 this evening,” he said.
Mothapo apologised on behalf of the municipality for the inconvenience caused.
