Murder accused Paul Carr found not guilty

POLOKWANE – De Freitas was killed in a fight at a local bar just outside the city on 4 July 2015. It was alleged that Carr and the deceased got into an argument during which Carr stabbed De Freitas with a knife.

Andries Rheeder, Carr’s legal representative said the state did not have sufficient evidence to convict his client.
