POLOKWANE -The search and rescue operation was conducted after Peter Serope Maoko (45), from Kgautswane village in Matshiretsane, went missing last Wednesday (3 May).

Police spokesperson Lt Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe says the search operation comprised of the Thohyandou SAPS Search and Rescue Team; the K9 Units from both Tzaneen and Burgersfort as well as the local community, Community Police Forum and YCOP.

“We would like to commend all parties involved in this search for continuing until the man was found,” he said.
Ngoepe concluded by saying that investigations will continue.
