Mentally ill man missing

The Police in Mphephu outside Thohoyandou have appealed to the community to help find a mentally ill man from Ndouvhada village who disappeared after jumping from a vehicle on 15 May 2017.

LIMPOPO – It is alleged Kuvhanganani Peter Sithagu was as being transported to Siloam Hospital to collect his medication when the incident occurred.

“When they reached Musekwa Divhani village, the driver stopped to give other people a lift. Sithagu is alleged to have jumped off the still standing bakkie and disappeared into the nearby bushes,” said Police Spokesperson, Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe.

“The police were notified and subsequently the Search and Rescue team started the search operation until now with no success”.

Anyone who has seen him or knows of his whereabouts is urged to contact Lt Col William Ramokhubedu at 082 499 8389, their nearest police station or the 24-hour crime stop number 0860010111.
