[WATCH] 200kms to campaign against abuse of women and children

Mosima Makaba is one of the seven people who will walk around 200kms from Polokwane to Beit Bridge outside Musina.

POLOKWANE – The walk is aimed at campaigning against the abuse of women and children.

The “Long Walk To Good Health”  team, led by Simon Mogale, embarked on their trek this morning (Thursday) from The Jack Botes Hall where they were sent off by the Acting Executive Mayor Cllr Hafiz Shaikh.

“This initiative is a good move for creating awareness around promoting good health and the campaign against abuse of women and children. We wish the team well,” said Shaikh.

The team will be escorted throughout and will be distributing pamphlets at public centers along the way.
