Team Nashua Limpopo together with Polokwane SPCA staff after a donation was made to the SPCA by Nashua Limpopo.
POLOKWANE – After an appeal by Polokwane’s Society for Prevention of Cruelty against Animals (SPCA), for help one resident, Grant Trueman, decided to get involved.
Grant contacted the SPCA to find out what exactly was needed, this after 28 dashunds were dropped off at the SPCA on Monday, 15 August.
“I immediately phoned the supplier of Top-Dog dog food and ordered 10 bags of 25kg of dog food and dropped it off. The personnel at Nashua Limpopo, where I am managing director, wanted to do something more so they have arranged to erect a stall at the entrance to Pick ‘n Pay Cycad, on 1 September, in conjunction with the SPCA. They will challenge everyone to buy a can of dog or cat food as a donation for the SPCA. Nashua also intends to assist the SPCA in Mokopane shortly,” Grant said.
Nashua is also challenging other businesses to help and donate food to the SPCA.
