Human trafficking is a crime that is steadily on the rise in Limpopo and South Africa.
POLOKWANE – Three suspects arrested on Tuesday for allegedly trafficking of 15 people have appeared before the Polokwane Magistrate Court today and were remanded in custody to allow for further police investigation.
Police received a tip-off which led them to the house in the city, whereby the three accused were found in the house and arrested.
All three suspects are expected to reappear before the court on 27 November 2017, said Hawks spokesperson Captain Matimba Malueke.

“Three suspects in their early thirties, who were found in the house and are also believed to be Ethiopian, were arrested and are expected to appear before the Polokwane Magistrate Court on Thursday, 16 November 2017,” Maluleke explained.
