Louis Trichardt bank manager and partner found dead in bedroom

Their bodies were discovered in their bedroom after local residents forced the door open, says the police.

LIMPOPO – The Makhado police are investigating a case of murder and inquest after the bodies of  Mudau Ndwamato Hector (40) and his partner Zanele Ngara (34)  were found in their house.

According to a statement issued by Police Spokesperson, Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe, it is alleged that the children heard a sound coming from their parent’s bedroom during the night but they did not suspect anything wrong. In the morning when their parents did not come out of the bedroom and the door was still locked, they called other people to help.

The door was forced open and they discovered the couple’s bodies inside.

Hector was lying dead in a pool of blood with a bullet wound to his head with a firearm in his hand, his partner Ngara, who is a branch manager at a Louis Trichardt Bank, was found lying next to him with a bullet wound to her head and on the neck.

The motive behind this incident is not clear at this stage but the domestic violence has not be ruled out.

The police have since opened murder and inquest cases which are still under investigation.

The South African Police Service in this Province have condemned domestic related incidents which are still prevalent in some parts of the Province. Residents are still advised and encouraged to resolve their differences and conflicts amicably by seeking professional intervention at the nearest authorities rather than resorting to violence including killing each other.
