Bridle a bright achiever to watch

Staying dedicated to his studies throughout his school career paid off for Bridle Molomo from Westenburg whose secret isn’t to study hard, but to rather study smart.

POLOKWANE – The 19-year-old obtained three distinctions during the National Senior Certificate examination and plans to study a B.SC in optometry at the University of Limpopo.

“Learners need to rather focus on their studies instead of socialising with friends in their final school year as I strongly believe education is the key to success,” he told Review.

He explained he chose to study optometry as he has always been fascinated about the eyes and visual aspects of the human body and he wants to help people who have visual impairments.

“It pains me when I see people struggle to read and write so my plan includes to help make their lives a little better, I don’t know how yet but I am certain I will figure it out.”

The Westenburg Secondary School matriculant obtained distinctions in life sciences, geography and physical science.

“I hope my achievements serve as inspiration to others so they can work hard and never stop believing in themselves as thoughts become manifestations in reality so one must always think positive at all times,” Bridle concluded.
