The Mall of the North’s Easter Fun Rides are as popular as ever with literally hundreds of shoppers, their children and families flocking to share in the fun and excitement on Saturday and Sunday.
With only adventure and enjoyment in mind they went for the helicopters, big wheel, ghost house, and dodgem cars while some showed their slinky dance moves during a breakdancing activity.
Mall of the North Marketing Manager, Mari Delport said they were happy to host the fun rides and provide entertainment for shoppers and their families over the weekend. “There is not enough entertainment in Polokwane and with the fun rides we wanted to attract a lot of people to the mall and provide entertainment for school children currently on holiday,” Delport said.
She added that the rides will continue until 14 April at the overflow parking area and they are calling on all people to come with their families and have fun.
Polokwane resident Tsitsi Mashapu, joined by his brother Taelo, said he had fun. “It was my first time experiencing the fun rides. I always see them on posters, in music videos and on television. I am grateful to my mother for giving me and my brother the money to buy tickets and to the Mall of the North for bringing the rides to Polokwane,” Tsitsi said on Saturday.
