The three arrested suspects briefly appeared before the Dzanani Magistrate Court, outside Thohoyandou, where their cases were postponed until 17 May 2018 with no bail so that further police investigations can take place.

The soldier is from Hammanskraal and is attached to the SANDF Pretoria Head Office in the VIP Section

Police spokesperson, Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe says the operation ran till this morning, 26 April, in the Ndzelele area and an additional three vehicles were recovered.

The three vehicles were found sold to different community members in the Ndzelele area, allegedly by one of the suspects, Rendani Edzani.

“It is believed that this suspect has sold more than 40 stolen cars in the Ndzhelele and Musina areas and we are therefore making an appeal to people who bought vehicles from Edzani ,to bring them to Mphephu or Siloam Police Stations or to contact Captain Richard Boshomane at 079 894 5501 or your nearest police station,” he concluded.
