The University of Limpopo (UL) during its recent Autumn Graduation Programme conferred 93 Masters degrees and topping the programme, conferred 11 doctoraral degrees to successful candidates in the faculties of Humanities, Science and Agriculture.
Addressing the graduates and guests at the Onkgopotse Tiro Hall last Tuesday, Prof Richard Madadzhe, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Teaching and Learning said they salute the students for their achievements and thanked them for choosing UL as their alma mater.
“They did their families proud and the future ahead of them looks bright,” Madadzhe said.He urged the graduates to always give thanks to their parents and guardians for their concerted efforts in ensuring that they complete their studies.
“You are graduating today because of them and they were there for you during the difficult moments.
“You must never put your degree to waste, go out there and fly the flag of the university high,” Madadzhe stressed.
