Limpopo Treasury ‘bomb threat’ nothing but a drill
A mid-morning bomb scare earlier today at the Treasury building in Hans van Rensburg Street proved to be a practise drill.
POLOKWANE – Treasury Spokesperson Sydwell Sibanda told Review that people as a rule do not take the threat of a possible bomb seriously. “So, from time to time we do have a practise drill to assess the reaction times of staff members and make observations. People need to know that it can be a real threat, and it could cost lives. They have to evacuate the building very quickly.”
Emergency services proved that they are ready for any situation by reacting swiftly as they would in a real situation.
Sibanda said everybody have returned to their work stations and are busy working again.
