N1 truck accident leaves two dead
The northbound lanes on the N1 road between Bela Bela and the Kranskop tollgate are temporarily closed due to a fatal accident between two trucks, says the Department of Transport.
LIMPOPO – The trucks collided near the Bela Bela offramp and two people died, one sustained serious injuries and another minor injuries, said Matome Maoremi-Taueatsoala, spokesperson for the department.
All injured parties were transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
According to Traffic Police Services within Limpopo one of the truck involved was transporting vehicles.
Motorists travelling from South to North are advised to use the R101.
