[VIDEO] Don’t let construction come between you and donating blood at the Polokwane SANBS
Despite construction taking place the SANBS in Polokwane, donors are still encouraged to go and donate and blood levels are low.
POLOKWANE – Blood is life and without it, no human or animal can live. So many times, we forget that we need blood and that it is important to donate blood so that those in need of it, will be able to live as well.
Bethuel Mokonyane, Collections Manager at the South African National Blood Service, Northern Zone, explains that their blood levels are very low.
“Generally the blood levels are low but we here at Northern Zone run very low and we urge people to come and donate blood.”
Readers that drive past the blood donor clinic in Potgieter Avenue, might have noticed the construction going on. This started in October and Bethuel explains that it will be over soon.
“People can still come and donate. They can either use the front gate and parking where a security guard will show them where to go or they can enter using the back gate that will be opened by a security guard.”
