POLOKWANE – Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) says that the Ebenezer plant has been off since last night, 8 January, due to an electrical panel problem on the cooling water pumps.
Technicians from LNW are busy working on the electrical panels and areas including Polokwane, Mankweng, Seshego and GaMmamabolo will be affected. High lying areas are already experiencing water shortages.
The Polokwane Municipality says they will deploy water tankers to effected areas and residents are advised to use water sparingly during this period in order to minimise the impact and avoid shortages.
