POLOWKANE – Lepelle Northern Water has just stopped water supply to Polokwane Municipality from the Olifanspoort Plant due to another specon pipe burst.

“Water will be restored once the leaks are fixed. In the meantime, areas receiving water are urged to use water sparingly and responsibly,” he said.

Meanwhile, a mini-substation that supplies electricity to Skotipola in Seshego, Zone 2 is experiencing an overload. Selela says municipal technicians are working on the problem and that residents are urged to use electricity sparingly and switch off non-essential appliances.

“The municipality will provide regular updates in terms of any new developments concerning water and electricity supply to the affected areas,’ he concluded.
