A screenshot of CCTV footage sent to Review of an attempted hijacking in Ladanna on Saturday night, 27 April
POLOKWANE – A woman escaped an attempted hijacking outside a store in Ladanna on Saturday evening, 27 April.
Onicha Otto explained to Review that she had gone to the store as her son and his friend wanted to buy a chocolate. “The next moment, my door was opened and I got hit in the face and I was pulled out of my car.”
In the video, you can see her son and his friend trying to get into the car to help her when the car reverses and a few seconds later, the man can be seen running away.
Otto says she hasn’t opened a case as yet but she will as soon as she recovers. Says she sent the video to Review to warn other people and to encourage them to be safe.
