9 tried and tested beauty hacks for women-on-the-go

We live in an era where time is everything. We try to get maximum results, with minimum effort and in even less time. This is no different when it comes to beauty routines.

POLOKWANE – Relieved has the following beauty hacks that require everyday products and even less effort.

1. Apple cider vinegar can be used as a toner.

For people with oily skin, applying a mixture of apple cider vinegar and water before applying your moisturiser. Contrary to popular belief, not using moisturiser when you have dry skin will only dry out your skin some more. The vinegar will balance your skin’s pH levels, preventing it from producing more oil

Don’t have a swimming cap on you? no problem, rinse your hair with tap water before you get into a pool to prevent the chlorine in the swimming water from damaging your hair. This is a easy trick to execute, unless of-course you are in Polokwane.

3. Another water related hack, is soaking nails in ice cold water after painting them to help them dry faster. Apply nail polish as usual and put your fingers in the water for a few minutes to help the nail polish to set and dry faster.
