[TAKE NOTE] Nkabu post office to merge with Seshego branch
Come Saturday, 31 August the Nkabu Post Office in Zone 3, Seshego will merge with the Seshego branch which is situated in the Seshego Plaza.
POLOKWANE – Regional general manager of the South African Post Office, Thomas Mokoatlo, explains that apart from the Seshego branch, the Madiba Park branch is also open for use.
“The Madiba Park post office is only one kilometre away from the Nkabu branch. No postboxes were installed at the Nkabu post office and there are enough tellers at the Madiba Park and Seshego branches to ensure that the waiting times for customers are still acceptable.”
The Seshego office offers the facility to renew car licences, and now accepts debit and credit cards to pay for licence renewals.
“Where branch amalgamations are considered, the first preference is to consider a nearby office. Only branches in urban areas are considered for amalgamation. No rural post offices are amalgamated,” Mokoatlo concludes.
