Woman’s body found in Seshego shack

Police are appealing to the public to assist with information that might help during investigations into the death of a woman whose body was found in a shack in Zone 6, Seshego at the beginning of the month.
Maphure Manamela of the Provincial Police Communications Centre indicated that Police were summoned to Seshego on 3 August at about 20:00 after residents had discovered the body of a woman in an abandoned shack.
Police arrived at the shack to find the decomposed body of a woman on the floor. It is believed that she was in her 20s.
She was dressed in a maroon sweater and grey trousers and wore black shoes, according to Manamela.
She added that preliminary investigations revealed that the woman’s hands were tied behind her back. The same type of string used were also found around her neck which raised the suspicion that she might have been strangled.
