Koom Loude Scholars reward top performing learners

Koom Loude Scholars Foundation bestowed top performing learners from various secondary schools in the Ga-Mamabolo area with certificates for achieving top marks in the second quarter of the academic year.
Jacqueline Ramalepe, founder of the foundation said with the gesture they wanted to remind learners in the area that education is the cornerstone for success. “We wanted to inspire other learners in the area to channel their energies to education. We are doing this because young people are the future. As such we took it as our responsibility to pass on the baton to them while equipping them for the future and grooming them in order for them to groom others,” Ramalepe said.
She said they also equip the youth in the area and surrounds with life and social skills. “We teach them how to become problem solvers and responsible young individuals instead of being problems themselves” Ramalepe said.
