POLOKWANE – Even though not everyone has the talent to be a math boffin, it is an important subject and compulsory.
Headmaster of Flora Park Comprehensive School, Ntsiene Masekela together with Chris Rakoma from Derek Kobe Secondary School started a maths day for Gr 12’s.
“This day is compulsory for all Gr 12’s as it is the last push to help them to achieve better results. We are dealing only with paper two today, as most learners pass paper one but not paper two. Paper two consists of geometry questions.”
Masekela explained that Flora Park was the host school and invited learners from Derek Kobe Secondary, Luthuli Park High School, Mamolemane Secondary School, Boetse Secondary School and Mahlogedi Secondary School. There are also a few learners from other schools who joined.
The learners were treated to lunch and snacks.
