Fun in the garden for Noordjieland learners

Learners of Noordjieland Pre-Primary School on Friday eagerly participated in the school’s bug and insect day.
They arrived at school dressed as ants, beetles, bees, butterflies and other insects. They also had the opportunity to emulate the movements and character of the insects.
Marene van Deventer, principal of the school, said the day tied in with the curriculum and also served to teach the learners more about the insects found in their immediate environment.
