Armed with a passion for serving the community and fuelled by a determination to rid the city of crime, Mighty Tactical Reaction Service (TRS) will be re-enforcing its presence in Polokwane with a launch in Nirvana on the weekend.
Aptly so as it is the first base for initially introducing its intended armed response, patrols and visible policing service that will simultaneously be rolled out to Westenburg, Ivypark and Ladanna before an envisaged expansion to the rest of Polokwane.
Mighty TRS operations are driven by local businessman Shabier Valjie, who is steadfast in his zero tolerance towards any form of crime. He has chosen Nirvana as point of focus for the fact that he grew up in the neighbourhood and would want to see crime eradicated from the area. With an estimated half a decade of experience in crime-fighting under the Nirvana Community Policing Forum (CPF) banner and during which he has been exposed to all imaginable danger, he is well acquainted with crime patterns and the challenges and dynamics of an ever expanding provincial capital.
Valjie’s dream team constituting the reactionary wing of Mighty TRS is a well-trained squad of energetic and committed combatants with years of experience in fighting and preventing crime as well as attending scenes and supporting the Police in their endeavours. Over time Mighty TRS has become synonymous with a solid presence as instrumental crime fighting partner alongside various Police units during operations conducted on city streets.
Associated with constantly being in the forefront of the war against crime, Valjie shares the belief to lead his men on the ground as opposed to doing so from an office chair. Coupled with a commitment to the community which stands to benefit from a service promised to be unmatched it makes for a winning recipe for creating a safe environment for the people of Polokwane.
During Saturday’s launch set to take place opposite Prime Cuts Butchery at the business complex in Nirvana from 10:00 to 16:00, community members can meet with the team, enlist their services and sign up to join the community database to benefit from ongoing round-the-clock patrols and visibility in the area. Other than that Mighty TRS offers monthly packages of R380 for armed response at households and R200 without the option of an alarm, which would allow for call-outs in emergencies.
Locate the Mighty TRS base station at 112 Blaauwberg Street in Ladanna or its sub-station in Tungsten Drive in Nirvana or contact them on 079 999 3875.
