POLOKWANE – The school held a special award ceremony to officially hand over the scholar’s cup medal to the learners on Friday, 1 November.
The scholar’s cup competitions took place from 23 to 26 September at the Playhouse Drama Theater, just across the street from Durban City Hall. During the competition the learners participated in the keynote speeches and panel discussions, in an effort to earn their place at the annual Tournament of Champions at Yale University in 2020.
Zwivhuya Raseluma, Gr 8 learner, was one of the lucky participants to be awarded the scholar’s cup trophy and qualified to go to Yale.
