Vaslap owner, Theo Maledimo says they offer house calls from work or even if you are relaxing at a local park. Theo says the idea sparked after he had to continuously take his sister’s car to the car wash for her and he would have to spend the whole day there because of the queue’s. “I would have to waste a whole Saturday and I thought why does someone not have a mobile car wash.” He says after thinking about this he decided he did not have to wait for someone to do it because he could do it himself. “I gathered information, on the requirements for washing cars and how to mobilise it.”
He says that Vaslap offers costumers quality services while they get on with their daily duties. “We spend roughly 45 minutes to an hour on an average car while our customers can spend their time as they wish.” Theo says that his expansion plans include providing the mobile car wash services to all the major towns in the province. He says that he would love Vaslap to end up and become a franchise which would be able to reach a wider market. Theo says the gap for mobile car washes is extremely huge and that is why he has taken this venture on.
