Police still searching for murder fugitive, offer R100K reward for information
The police in Vhulaudzi outside Thohoyandou are still looking for highly wanted murder fugitive, Dorobo Rodney Tshivhula after he failed to appear in court last year.
LIMPOPO – The police have offered a reward of up to R100 000 for valuable information which can lead to the arrest and conviction of the 31-year-old fugitive. Tshivhula was previously granted bail by the Dzanani Magistrate’s Court and his case was scheduled for 17 September 2018 in the Thohoyandou High Court. He failed to comply with the bail conditions and has been on the run ever since. Tshivhula is wanted on charges of murder and failing to comply with bail conditions.

According to Police Spokesperson, Brig Motlafela Mojapelo, Tshivhula was arrested for the murder of his business partner, Suzan Mabala (29) in 2017. Mabala from Phadzima village was reported missing on 19 April 2017 and a search was launched until 13 May when her decomposed body was discovered in nearby bushes.

Following the discovery of her body, local residents went on a rampage and barricaded roads and torched the Vhulaudzi Police Station. During this incident, 21 people were arrested for various charges relating to public violence including arson.
