Polokwane, gear up for the #fooddonationchallenge!
As with all the other challenges on social media, this one also requires you to post a photo and challenge someone else.
POLOKWANE – Along with Covid-19 and #LockdownSA, a number of challenges have surfaced on social media recently, from shaving your hair to swallowing raw eggs.
One to really consider, is the donation of food challenge: Spar Platinum Park and NJ Fresh Produce and Butchery recently challenged the community to donate three food items at their stores.
So, whenever you go and buy items for your own household, add three items that might be needed and welcomed at another person’s house, and after paying, place it into the container provided.
This food will be donated to PBGHELPGROEP NPC who provides food for more than 1 500 people in the community.
As with all the other challenges on social media, this one also requires you to post a photo and challenge someone else.
This can be done on your own page or on the page of Limpopo Geselsblad on Facebook.
The administrator of this page, Hansie Bezuidenhout, says the photo is not a requirement to take part.
“You can just donate three items without posting a photo. It also does not have to be three items. Anything you can afford will be welcome. There will be trolleys with a banner saying PBGHELPGROUP on where you can place your donation.”
