Patel granted bail in mom’s murder case
He is expected to appear again on Tuesday.
POLOKWANE – Double murder accused, Rameez Patel was granted bail of R5 000 in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 14 August.
He appeared for the murder of his mother, Mehajeen and the matter was postponed to 18 August, says Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi, NPA Regional Spokesperson.
Patel was linked to the alleged murder of his mother soon after he is said to have killed his wife, Fatima.
Fatima was murdered in their marital home in Polokwane in 2015 and he is expected to appear in court from 21 to 25 September.
