110 more Covid-19 cases recorded in Limpopo
The most new cases were recorded in Polokwane.

LIMPOPO – The province saw an increase of 110 Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours and currently stands at 13 117 of which 12 421 people have recovered and 517 cases are active.

The Limpopo Health Department said no deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours; 179 people have died from the virus in the province.
The Capricorn district recorded the majority of new cases (52) while Vhembe had 18 new cases, Mopani had 15 new cases and Waterberg and Sekhukhune had 12 new cases each.
Polokwane recorded the most new cases (50) in the province. The Capricorn district’s other new cases were recorded in Lepelle Nkumpi (2). In the Vhembe district, Makhado had seven new cases followed by six in Thulamela and five in Collins Chabane.
Greater Tzaneen recorded the most new cases in the Mopani district with five new cases, followed by four in Phalaborwa, three in Greater Giyani, two in Maruleng and one in Greater Letaba. In Sekhukhune; seven new cases were recorded in Makhuduthamaga, three in Ephraim Mogale and one each in Elias Motsoaledi and Fetakgomo/Tubatse.
Seven of the 12 new cases in the Waterberg district, were recorded in Lephalale, while dour new cases were recorded in Modimolle-Mookgophong and one in Mokgalakwena.
