Minor injuries in Vermikuliet Street crash
Emergency services and traffic officials were quick to the scene to attend to those injured.
POLOKWANE – Minor injuries were sustained and emergency services on scene of an accident on Vermikuliet Street this morning, 31 August.
This, after a sedan rear-ended a Toyota Yaris adjacent to the Fire Department. Three children and the driver of the Yaris were treated on scene.
Review spoke to the driver of the sedan who explained that the vehicle in front of her indicated and moved to the left lane, with no time to brake to avoid colliding with the Yaris. “I did not see the Yaris and by the time I wanted to brake, it was already too late,” she said.
The scene has been cleared and the road is open for motorists.
