Lucky couple win big at Thornhill Spar
Not only was there a car up for grabs but goodie hampers and flat screen tv’s as well.
POLOKWANE – Stephan Minnaar and his wife, Miranda’s luck changed for the better on Saturday, 5 September as they were announced winners of a brand new Hyundai i10 Grande.
The draw, which took place at Thornhill Spar, saw Stephan and hundreds of other customers enter the store’s popular ‘Win-a Car’ competition which ran for three months and ended on 31 August.
“There were a lot of entries. Customers has to buy for R500 or more and drop their till slip into the parked car. I then jumped in and drew five slips,” Store Manager, Hester Erasmus explained.

Miranda’s eyes filled with tears after the announcement was made and she told Review it was the best feeling.
“It is nerve-wrecking waiting to hear if you have won. When I realised I won, it was the best feeling. This is the best thing to happen to us this year. We need a car and my wife will be driving it,” Stephan said.
