Limpopo’s Covid-19 deaths rise to 344, recoveries to 13 670
According to the latest figures issued by the Limpopo Health Department, the province recorded 86 new Covid-19 deaths.

LIMPOPO – As of 19 September the province stands at 14 506 positive cases of which 492 cases are still active. A total of 13 670 people have recovered and 86 new deaths have been recorded, bringing the total to 344 deaths.
Of the new recorded deaths, 39 were recorded in Polokwane, nine in Lepelle-Nkumpi, eight in Tzaneen, four in Makhado, four in Thulamela, four in Mookgophong-Modimolle, three in Blouberg, three in Lephalale, three in Mogalakwena, two in Thabazimbi, two in Giyani and one each in the Molemole, Letaba, Fetakgomo Tubatse, Makhuduthamaga and Bela Bela municipalities, respectively.
A total of 113 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, of which the Capricorn district recorded 44 new cases, Waterberg (35), Mopani district recorded 17 new cases, the Vhembe district (9) and Sekhukhune (8).
