Limpopo’s positive Covid-19 cases stand at 15 371
As from 1 October, a total of 14 517 people have recovered from the virus, bringing the recovery rate to 94%
LIMPOPO â According to the latest stats issued by the Department of Health, the total number of positive Covid-19 cases in the province stands at 15 371, of which 463 are active. A total of 14 517 people have recovered and 391 deaths have been recorded.
A total of 84 new cases were reported in the last 24-hours:
Capricorn district recorded 35 new cases, of which 32 were in Polokwane, two in Lepelle Nkumpi and one in the Blouberg Municipality.
A total of 20 new cases were recorded in the Waterberg district; seven in Bela Bela, seven in Lephalale, five in Modimolle-Mookgophong and one in Thabazimbi. The Mopani district followed with 18 new cases; 11 in Ba-Phalaborwa and seven in Tzaneen.
In Vhembe, the Thulamela and Makhado municipalities each recorded three new cases, Musina recorded two and Collins Chabane one. Fetakgomo Tubtase Municipality, in Sekhukhune, recorded one new case.
