Limpopo Covid-19 cases nearing 16 000 mark
The province saw an increase of 77 cases in the last 24 hours

LIMPOPO – In the last 24 hours, the Limpopo Health Department says 77 new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded. The total number of cases is currently at 15 747, of which 615 cases are active.
According to the department, 391 people have thus far died from the virus, while 14 741 people have recovered.
Mopani district recorded the most new cases (24) followed by Capricorn (23), Waterberg (18), Vhembe (9) and Sekhukhune (2). Of this, Phalaborwa had the most new cases (19) followed by Polokwane (15).
Thus far, 99 239 tests have been conducted, of which 48 685 in the public sector and 50 544 in the private sector.
