3 killed, 1 critical in N1 crash

The Department of Transport’s Media Liaison Officer, Mike Maringa says speeding cannot be ruled out as a possible cause for the incident.

LIMPOPO – Three people, between the ages of 30 and 40, have been killed as a result of an earlier incident on the N1, near Nyl River.

According to a statement by the Department of Transport and Community Safety’s Media Liaison Officer, Mike Maringa, one person is critically injured.

“A minibus crashed into a truck from behind. Seven passengers escaped with minor injuries,” he explained.

Maringa added that speeding could not be ruled out as a possible cause.
