[UPDATE] Double murder of businesswomen: Cops launch manhunt
Police said the suspects fled the scene in a red light hatchback vehicle.
POLOKWANE – The Polokwane police have launched a manhunt following the double murder of two women in the Magna Via area earlier today.
Initial reports that four men were involved in the murder, have been confirmed by Police Spokesperson, Brig Motlafela Mojapelo.
Mojapelo said three men shot at the women, while a fourth was waiting in a red light hatchback vehicle.
“According to preliminary police investigations, the two women were with a local property agent, viewing various business premises with the view of renting,” he said.
The men shot at the women while they were seated in an SUV, confirmed Mojapelo.
