[VIDEO] Mainline leakage repaired, says muni

Lepelle Northern Water notified the municipality about the leak as well as the water supply stoppage to the city, a while ago.

POLOKWANE – The repairs to the main pipeline have been completed, says Spokesperson for the Polokwane Municipality, Thipa Selala.

“The water team from Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) are done with repairs, however, water supply to the city will only be restored once the Specon line has filled with water.”

POLOKWANE – The team from Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) are currently working on repairing a leak along main pipeline that supplies water to the city.

Spokesperson for the Polokwane Municipality, Thipa Selala says the municipality was notified about a water supply stoppage at the Olifantspoort plant, a while ago.

“All areas of supply will be affected by the stoppage and according to LNW the repairs will take around 2 hours to complete,” he adds.
