Police on the hunt for Moletjie ATM bombers

An undisclosed amount of money was stolen when an ATM was bombed outside a local tavern on Wednesday morning.

LIMPOPO – The Police in Seshego are on a manhunt for the suspects involved in the bombing of an ATM, outside a local tavern in Moletjie in the early hours of Wednesday morning, 17 February.

Police Spokesperson, Col Moathse Ngoepe said residents were awaken by gun shots in the yard but they could not see anything as their rooms are at the back of the tavern. A few minutes later they heard a bombing sound.

“An undisclosed amount of money was stolen and no arrests have been made yet,” Ngoepe told Review. 

Cases of malicious damage to property and theft have been opened. 

“Anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of the suspects involved may contact the Crime Stop number at 08600 10111 or the nearest police station,” he concluded.
