Water woes on a Wednesday as yet another pipe leaks

A large part of the Polokwane Municipal area is currently affected by a water supply stoppage at Lepelle Northern Water’s Olifantspoort plant.

Municipal Spokesperson, Thipa Selala said LNW informed the municipality about the stoppage at the plant, as a result of a leak on their Specon pipeline.

Areas that are affected by the supply stoppage includes Ga-Chuene, the city and Seshego.

“Lepelle Northern Water has estimated five hours until completion of repairs. Water supply to all affected shall be restored once Lepelle Northern Water has completed repairs,” Selala said.
