Join us at the Xclusive Spot rooftop at Savannah Mall

One of the organisers, Mashapa Sesera of the Xclusive Spot restaurant, encourages residents in Seshego and the city to book stalls to give their products exposure.

POLOKWANE – Mashapa Sesera of the Xclusive Spot restaurant in Seshego Zone 1 says he realised that there aren’t enough flea markets inclusive of all businesses.

With this in mind, he had the idea to host a rooftop market at Savannah Mall, which he said will be open for all business types and will be held over four weekends.

“The market promises a variety of products and services on sale, as well as a family outing atmosphere with a food court, kiddies entertainment and a social buzz.”

Sesera encouraged residents in Seshego and the city to book stalls to give their products exposure.

“There isn’t much diversity at current markets and I want to show people, mainly those from the rural parts of the city that they too can have their items on show at a location that has a lot of activity. Most of our people think of car washes and kota places when they think business and this market is an opportunity to show them that selling any item is possible.”

He said that the market will pave the way for small businesses to enter a bigger economic hub that will allow them to interact with a broader target market and hopefully grow a client base.

“We want everyone to join the market. Any business or service you have, whether formal or informal, should show off on the day. Stall bookings have began and you can contact us or visit our pop-up stall in the mall.”

He said they made provision for 200 stalls and will offer equipment such as tables and chairs at an additional fee for the small businesses that don’t have any.
