Chef Chris shares his cooking secrets
Chef Chris Sebola hosted a cooking show at Tatsos Meat Lounge on November 20.
POLOKWANE – The ‘international chef’ explained that the show was about more than just teaching people how to cook, but also to educate the audience on the correct way to take care of their food in line with the health and safety act. The main dishes of the show were papizza, which is a local spin on pizza made with soft pap topped with prawns, and the other dish was quesadillas, a Mexican dish.

“We are going to teach the audience how to peel prawns, where to find the intestines and much more. We also have cocktails that will be showcased in an interactive way with the audience. Everyone in attendance can expect to learn something new about food preparation,” he said before the show.
Chef Chris added that the objective was to teach people how to handle food according to health and safety code so that they can walk away with the knowledge of what temperature to prepare certain meals, like prawns. “We also showed people how to make their favourite cocktails using what they have in the house,” he added.
