Laduma Hardware, well-known as a supplier of quality building material and equipment at affordable prices in Limpopo, recently launched its eight store – this time at Ga-Mothiba, Nobody.

Residents of the area flocked to the launch, which was held on December 9 where they were surely not disappointed at the efficient service of Laduma Hardware staff accompanied by prices to make them smile from ear to ear. According to Pholiswa Zonke, the marketing manager for the Laduma Hardware Group, the franchise was founded in Giyani in the late 1990s and with now 16 stores combined in Limpopo and Mpumalanga, the rest is history.

Seshego, Bochum, Lebowakgomo, Jane Furse, Burgersfort, Giyani, Malamulele and now Nobody all boast Laduma Hardware stores where the company offers a variety of products and equipment to meet customers' building and renovation needs.

“At Laduma, you can start from the floor with all the material for the foundation all the way up to the roof. We have everything that you could ever need to build your dream home,” Zonke remarked.

What sets them apart from competitors, is undoubtedly their ability to offer what customers want.

“Our sensitivity to our customers' needs is what sets us apart from industry competitors. Our stores are strategically placed to be close to the customers, which makes it easier for customers to get what they need without incurring the extra cost of transporting the material purchased at the hardware. Customers within close proximity to the hardware can enjoy the benefits of free delivery.”

Laduma Hardware is passionate about corporate social investment and considers the needs of the community they operate in. “We liase with leaders in the community, including chiefs as well as social workers to assist us to identify the needs of the community.

“We also do a lot of work with schools and support community development initiatives. We are a hands-on store and love to be part of the communities that we are serving,” she said.

Maria Shokane, one of the first customers to Laduma Hardware's eight store, said that she woke up early because of the great deals on offer.

She saw the opportunity to buy chairs at affordable prices and couldn't be happier.

“I will certainly be back for more great deals. I live in the vicinity of the store which is very convenient,” she said.

On the opening day, customers received free gifts and those who spent more than R2 000 could enter a competition in which a brand new vehicle is up for grabs.

The winner will be announced at the hardware store's anniversary next year.

Laduma Hardware has opening specials running from December 9 to 16, while stocks last.
