Eduan Park to remain in the dark until substation issue is resolved

An explosion at the substation that feeds the Eduan Park area has once again left residents in the dark.

POLOWKANE – Electricity supply to Eduan Park is off again after an explosion at the substation.

Residents in the area have been without power since Sunday night (November 13).

After power was restored a short while ago, residents complained that it had gone off again, adding to their frustration.

Municipal spokesperson Thipa Selala said the termination on the line coming from the substation exploded and that it will take four to five hours to repair.

“We will restore power once the termination has been tested,” he said.
