Polokwane police launch search to locate missing man

Casty Molamo (40) was last seen wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans and puma tekkies in the Polokwane CBD.

POLOKWANE – The police in Polokwane have urged residents to come forward with information that can assist them in locating a missing man from Extension 75 on the outskirts of the city.

Casty Molamo (40) was last seen on Friday (November 11) on the corner of Landdros Mare and Excelcior Street in the Polokwane CBD.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Maphure Manamela said Molamo was wearing a blue jacket, blue Jeans and puma tekkies at the time of his disappearance.

“The family has reported the matter to the Polokwane Police Station and a search operation was immediately activated. His mobile phone is currently on voicemail,” she said.

Manamela said that anyone who knows of Molamo’s whereabouts or has information that can assist police with their investigation is encouraged to contact the investigating officer Warrant Officer Peter Mangakeng on 082 728 9831; the crime stop number 08600 10111; the nearest police station or the MySAPSApp.
